What's the difference between a bisque soup and a regular soup?

Bisques are made to be thicker and heartier than your regular soup. When preparing bisque, the cream is used earlier in the overall cooking process than in a regular soup. The key to preparing bisque is to allow the cream to reduce slowly over low heat, thickening the soup and smoothing it out.

Is this Keto tomato soup suitable for meal prep?

Yes, it is! This tasty Keto tomato soup is perfect for meal prep. It will save you so much time during your busy week and will keep you on track. Just prepare a large batch of this recipe, and allow it to cool completely. Then, divide it into microwave-safe containers and place them in the fridge for up to 4 days. When you are ready to eat, microwave one container for a couple of minutes until it's warm.

Can you adapt this recipe to a vegan diet?

This recipe contains butter and heavy cream, making it unsuitable for dairy-free and vegan diets. Simply replace the butter with vegan butter or a flavorless oil and heavy cream with coconut milk. Follow the cooking instructions as they are.

Excellent! I used fresh tomatoes that we roasted in cur wood burning pizza oven. I also added fresh basil from our garden. Wonderful flavor, rich and creamy.

I have to avoid dairy. What about using the canned coconut milk?

Used Roma tomatoes and sub chicken broth instead of vegetable. That decreased the net carb content to 3g per serving.

Love it! I changed the vegetable stock to a garlic and thyme stock cube and it tastes more like a curry type soup. Served with Homemade Keto cloud bread- winner! Will be making again for sure!

Love the reviews so far. I will update my star rating once I make it. I do have a question though, how much does it make? Is it enough for one person for 4 days?

Once you get used to the fact that there is no sugar in this soup, it's actually quite nice. I would make it again.

This was super easy to make and really delicious. I've only ever had canned tomato soup before, this was so much tastier by far. I recommend using a sieve, as the recipe suggests, to get a silky smooth texture. 10/10!

WOW! Sooo good! I used a standing blender instead of immersion blender to get it smoother. Husband & I ate this all in one sitting. Need to make a double batch next time. Thank you for posting!

I would think a 12oz can of crushed or diced tomatoes would work as well. Go for Muir Glen fire roasted tomatoes if it's in the budget.
