Keto Blueberry Nice Cream
What better way to enjoy ice cream than to have it without worrying about consuming all the unnecessary carbs? This simple Keto blueberry nice cream is creamy, sweet, and very simple to whip together. It is made with just 4 ingredients and can be customized to suit your flavor preferences. It can be made in just under 40 minutes and will for sure impress your family and friends at your next dinner.
How to customize this Keto nice cream?
This Keto blueberry dessert can be customized in a variety of ways. For an added crunch, add a handful of nuts and seeds such as walnuts, almonds, pecans, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, or flaxseeds. For a protein boost, add a scoop of your favorite unsweetened whey isolate protein powder while blending to make a protein-packed Keto blueberry nice cream.
How to store this nice cream?
This Keto ice cream can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. Once blended, store the nice cream in an airtight container in the freezer. Before serving, allow the nice cream slightly sit out at room temperature for about 10 minutes before scooping to get the best consistency. Alternatively, scoop out the nice cream and freeze the scooped ice cream individually on a tray then transfer it to an airtight container to enjoy hassle-free nice cream whenever you are ready.
Can you make this Keto blueberry nice cream dairy-free?
Yes, you can make this Keto blueberry nice cream dairy-free by replacing the greek yogurt with coconut cream or greek-style coconut yogurt. Using plant milk such as almond milk and coconut milk could also work in this recipe; however, the consistency will be much water compared to when made using yogurt. When frozen, the consistency may be similar to that of ice, making it harder to scoop out. Therefore, it is best to use greek-style coconut yogurt or coconut milk to achieve the right consistency of nice cream.

This looks delicious. Could I substitute almond or coconut yogurt?

This looks delisous. Is there something I can use as a substitute for the yogert

Hi, as this is a frozen yogurt dessert it will be difficult to substitute, however we do have a Keto Strawberry Semifreddo on Carb Manager that you may like - which doesn't contain yogurt.
