Great recipe for a husband with a very sweet tooth. However, they were just too sweet for me. We don’t have Swerve here in the UK, so I used Pure Vita Demerara sugar replacement and you get that weird cold aftertaste that you get with sugar alcohols. They were great warm from the oven, so now I put them in the oven for 10 minutes before eating them and it gets rid of the weird aftertaste.

Made these using lakanto brown "sugar" instead and topped a serving with a scoop of rebel vanilla ice cream. It tastes amazing!

These taste really good but are very mushy. I am just wondering if I cooked them enough. They were in for 25 minutes and the edges are dark which leads me to believe that they might be ok

I left mine in longer but lower temp. Crumbly but moist.

Mine were too, but tasted delicious. When they were nearly done I turned the oven off without taking them out to try and make it so they didn’t separate- then I actually stored them in the fridge which solidified them and somehow made them even better-kind of like a buttery vanilla fudge or something.
