I really needed this recipe today!! Because it only called for the egg yolk, I made a merengue with the egg white by beating it until stiff peaks formed. I added 1/8 tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp Monk Fruit Sweetener. Spoon the merengue on top of cooked brownie. What a treat!!

Delicious!! I too halved the swerve as it was sweet!! Hit that craving & I used coconut oil as I did not have advacado oil on hand!

Absolutely delicious. I tweaked my recipe quite a bit. I added a couple of drops of the Coffee Bar S’mores flavored sugar-free gourmet syrup. I only did 1 tablespoon of Swerve, but I used the ultimate replacement brown sugar swerve. I added a few Lily’s Milk Chocolate (32% Cocoa-Stevia Sweetened No Sugar Added) morsels and I added a couple of dashes of sea salt to cut the overpowering sweetness, and it was delicious. After it was done. I also put a couple of splashes of heavy whipping cream over it just to moisten it a little bit - absolutely delicious.

Great recipe by itself. If you want it a little sweeter, Replace almond flour with coconut flour and add 1-2 tbs of almond milk. Amazing

It hit my sweet tooth, but it tasted a bit bitter. I used guittard cocoa powder (only one I have on hand), and I’m unsure if that’s why it tasted more of a dark bitter chocolate. I even added 5 lilys sugar free milk chocolate chips. Any ideas on how to get rid of the bitterness and make it taste more like milk chocolate?

You could try subbing the water with a tbsp of heavy cream. Milk chocolate has more dairy.

Used liquid coconut oil and added extra and extra water as mix was dry. Came out beautiful with a scoop of dollop cream on top. Yum, yum will be making this again for sure!

Fantastic. Even my 5 yo loved it. Takes a couple of bites to get used to, but at the end I loved it.

The sugar substitute was overpowering. Next time less! I liked the warm chocolate!

I don't understand I must be missing something. There's no mention of Cocoa powder in this recipe, but the instructions specify to use it.

I add an ounce or two of hot espresso (right from the machine) into the mug I make mine in. The brownie absorbs the espresso like a sponge, so any dryness is eliminated and the flavor is that much better

I thought this was delicious! I added 8 Lillys chips and cut back on swerve ultimate granular sweeteners . Also , added dollop of Redi- whip on top. I didn’t get the grainy texture like some of you were experiencing, I will be having this again sometime.

I remade this tonight and used the Hersheys Special Dark coca , it was better than the unsweetened milk chocolate.

Very good! I made it one time with regular cocoa and it was really good, but the Special Dark Hershey’s makes it even better.
