Keto Pork and Chorizo Burgers
These delicious Keto burgers are rich with flavor from warming spices and fresh herbs. Our low carb burger patty recipe is prepared with ground pork, Spanish chorizo, smoky paprika, aromatic rosemary, a touch of lemon zest, tender shallot and garlic. These Mediterranean-inspired burgers make a great Keto lunch or low carb dinner option, perfect served with your favorite burger sides.
Can I Use Mexican Chorizo?
We have used Spanish chorizo for this Keto burger recipe. Spanish chorizo is a cured, spiced sausage that can be eaten straight from the packet or cooked. Mexican chorizo is a spiced pork sausage blend that is raw and uncooked. If you prefer, you may swap the Spanish chorizo for Mexican chorizo in the same quantities. Please be sure to adjust your macros to account for any changes made to the original recipe.
Serving Suggestions
These smoky Keto burgers pack a flavor punch and can be served with a range of low carb burger sides. The burger itself can be served on its own, in lettuce wraps or between portobello mushroom buns. The burgers would also be delicious served with a hearty Mediterranean-inspired side salad, creamy slaw or vegetable fries.
