Balsamic Vinegar

Slice the lettuce in half lengthways ensuring to keep the base intact.Step 2
Combine the olive oil and vinegar in a small bowl.Step 3
Preheat the broiler to medium and brush the lettuce liberally on both sides with the oil and vinegar dressing. Season with salt and pepper.Step 4
