Carb Manager Staff

Carb Manager Premium just got a big upgrade. Whether you’re already a seasoned fasting pro, or curious to try this powerful health and weight-loss tool for yourself, we’ve made it just as easy to track and manage the time you’re not eating as it is to track your daily meals in Carb Manager Premium 😉

Our suite of fasting features allows you to easily set fasting and eating windows, view the fasting timer so you know exactly where you stand, and log your foods within the appropriate window to get a full picture of your fasting routine.

Why Intermittent Fasting + Carb Manager?

Intermittent fasting (or IF) is about when you eat, not necessarily what you eat — and it has many powerful health benefits.

Just as Keto and low-carb ways of eating help to control blood glucose and insulin levels —which can assist with weight loss, metabolic health, and managing certain health conditions — IF similarly helps you lose body fat, adapt to healthy glucose and insulin levels, and much more.

Read more about the health and weight-loss benefits of IF from our fasting expert Brian Stanton here.

Fasting + Keto = Supercharged Results

Even though fasting is about when and not what you eat, it often goes hand-in-hand with Keto and low-carb diets, as combining the “when” with the “what” can easily amplify the benefits of both Keto and IF. Both Keto + IF help to improve and maintain healthy, sustainable weight loss, safe blood glucose levels, and overall metabolic function. In human speak? They both help you look, feel, and function at your absolute best. Learn more about the combined benefits of Keto + IF here.

We think this makes our new suite of IF features a no-brainer addition to the Carb Manager Premium tools you know, love, and use to manage your health, wellness, and weight-loss goals through nutrition and lifestyle.

Get Results with Intermittent Fasting + Carb Manager Premium

Easy Tracking

Premium members can now manage fasting at a glance with the new Daily Log fasting widget to quickly tell you whether it’s time to feast or fast.

Intermittent Fasting Timer

Quickly view the time elapsed and remaining in your fast with the built-in fasting timer. Plan and schedule post-fast meals with time-specific food logging before, during, or after your fast itself.

Done-For-You Programs

Take the guesswork out of how to do IF right with one of our research-backed fasting programs like the popular 16:8, Warrior Diet, and more.

Custom Fasting

If you’re a regular faster and know what works for you, set your own unique fasting goals with time windows and day-of-the-week options.

Two Apps in One

There are dozens of other apps out there that only track fasting, but as you might be able to guess, we think that’s a bit silly 😉 If you want to live a truly well-rounded healthy lifestyle, it does matter what you eat inside your “eating window” after a fast.

Carb Manager Premium provides you with all the healthy, whole food, low-carb recipes you need to make sure you’re breaking your fast with the nutrients your body needs to perform at it’s best — so you can look and feel your best!

Sometimes fasting means eating less food, which also means the quality of the food you do eat should be nutrient-packed, and not an excuse to stuff your face with junk (and undo all the health benefits you just gained from your fast!)

Get Started with Intermittent Fasting Now

Ready to start tracking your fast and supercharge your health and weight-loss results?

Premium members can access Intermittent Fasting features in-app via Settings -> Goal Settings -> Intermittent Fasting. Choose one of our pre-set, research-backed fasting programs, or set your own custom plan. Once your fast is set, the fasting timer and details will be visible via a widget on the Daily Log.

I can't use it because it doesn't allow me to log my meals when I get around to doing it. Instead, I have to log everything the second I eat it and that doesn't happen. I usually log when I get the chance and it messes up the clock. We should be allowed to input the time we actually ate. That would be helpful.

You just need to go to the meal you logged on the daily log page and click the three dots. There you can set a meal time for that meal. This happens to me as well and I just change the time of that meal for that day only.

I can only stop my hunger pains by drinking martinis and smoking cigarettes but when I lose the weight, I will go into AA.

I switched over from MyFitnessPal. They wanted a premium membership at more than twice the cost just to do bar code scanning. This app has the features I want at a price I can afford.

if you are unfamiliar with the benefits of IF the quickest way to start is to compress your eating time gradually each day. In other words if you usually eat breakfast at 8, lunch at noon and dinner at 5-6pm, start by eating breakfast an hour later at 9. Do that for a few days then push it back another hour. If your last meal is at 6pm at night and you dont eat until 9 am that is a 15 hour fast, you must not eat outside of that 9 hour time frame,NOTHING. Continue to push back the hours you wait to eat breakfast. If you find you are hungry up your fats and proteins. Both of them will stave off hunger. Carbs on the other hand will make you hungry almost right after you eat them. Eventually you will find that you are no longer eating the same amount thru a day. Try and reduce your carb intake by eating less bread, pasta, etc.READ ALL LABLES BEFORE EATING THE CONTENTS.

And why not? I’m not a Premium member but I understand why a business would want a subscription for many of the benefits. In the meantime, I’m happy to learn more about which foods contain what macros.

I followed it without premium for approximately 2 years. It’s is still pretty nice. I went Premium last week and am loving it. It can provide meal plans catered to your macros and IF if you are fasting.

It should give you the option to break fast and log food or continue fast and log food. Maybe not in those exact words.

You have to set the meal time when you log it. Otherwise it uses the time you log it.
